Theater Program

All the World’s a Stage…

Communicating through Theater Arts can be one of the most fulfilling of life’s experiences. For many, it can be the primary means of self-expression and can be embraced by all children who love being in a theatrical environment. Our mission with Spotlight Music’s theater program is to bring the arts alive to students of all ages and levels, and to foster growth in an artistic environment. All workshops meet once a week for 6 weeks. Each class runs for an hour.

Musical Theater for Kids (ages 6-12)

A basic introduction into the wonderful world of the Broadway musical. Begin to explore vocal technique, acting technique, and movement in this non-competitive class. Child-appropriate song and dance will be taught in a small group setting for lots of “star” time. All you need to bring is your creativity

Musical Theater Scene Study (ages 13-up)

This class will be geared toward the teen performer who wishes to delve a little deeper into character study and song interpretation within the Broadway musical genre. Small group and solo repertoire will be covered in this class. Beginners are welcome.

Private Acting Instruction (all Ages)

Have a big audition coming up and need some individual coaching? Take some private lessons. (By appointment)
